It’s no secret that Americans are becoming less intelligent by the second. I have my theories (education monopolies, poor information distribution, etc) but there is no denying that the number one factor is nutrition. We all eat like shit and this deprives our brain of the nutrients it needs to get things done.

This isn’t even taking into account genetic situations and disorders like Anxiety, OCD, Depression(did you know that prolonged deep depression actually does brain damage?) and ADHD. How can anyone possibly compete and manage the ever-changing, complex reality that we are faced with? We have to come to the game prepared and armed with the best tools possible.

I’ve tried several productivity supplements and prescription medications to help me get things done. Street drugs are often far too dirty to get anything worthwhile done. Marijuana is good for creativity and generating ideas, but not so great for execution.

I use 4 main tools to juice up my mind and have found that this combo works the best for me.

Here they are:

1. Focus formula:

This is my number one heavy hitter. Focus formula is a super food/supplement with all the good extracts, spinach, gotu kola, ginko, vitamin b 12, DHA, and my favorite ingredient Vinpocetine. This is the element (along with Huperzine A) that gives you just a tic of adderrall effect. Just a hint of it though. For 12 bucks a month, this is a MUST.

2. Fish oil tabs. Yeah, you may get the fish burps. But this stuff helps support the myelin sheath of the neurons in your brain (the ones that have stuck around after college).

From wikipedia:

It was suggested that these kinds of fatty acids are responsible for the neuronal growth of the frontal cortex of the brain which, it is further alleged, is the seat of personal behavior.

3. Liquid multi-vitamins:

Let’s face it. A donut breakfast, a salad at chilis and spaghetti every day is not going to give your brain what it needs. You have to take a multi, but something a little stronger than Centrum or whatever. That shit is for your grandfather and 12 year olds. Liquid multi-vitamins tend to be much more pure and deliver the vitamins in a much more efficient way. Less is wasted in the process and you get to be able to figure out level 12 on World of Warcraft. Everyone wins.

4. Cigarettes. (well, nicotine) Listen, man. The indians used to sit around and smoke it when BIG decisions needed to be made, so it has to be good for you : )
